How to Play Sudoku

Sudoku is a logic-based number placement puzzle. The standard version (classic Sudoku) is played on a 9x9 grid, divided into nine 3x3 subgrids (often called boxes or regions) The puzzle starts with some cells already filled in (these are called clues or givens). These cannot be changed. You must fill in the empty cells with numbers 1–9. A valid solution has no duplicates in any row, column, or box. Use logic to determine where numbers go, guessing is not necessary (and not part of proper solving).
